Este domingo 27 marzo a las 02.00am volvemos a cambiar los relojes. En primavera perdemos una hora y en otoño la ganamos.
En inglés hay un dicho muy conocido para acordarnos fácilmente si se adelanta la hora o se retrasa:
“Spring forward, fall back” (saltar adelante, caer por atrás).
Se refiere a las estaciones del año: en primavera (spring) se adelanta la hora y en otoño (fall) se retrasa. Fácil ¿verdad? ☺ El otoño se dice autumn o, en EEUU, fall. Se llama Fall, porque es cuando se caen las hojas de los árboles.
Y cuando nos referimos a la hora en inglés usamos AM y PM (anti-meridian por la mañana y post-meridian por la tarde).

- By the time you get this, I’ll be gone (Cuando recibas esto, ya habré salido).
- He’s a bit behind the times (Él es un poco anticuado).
