Basic requirements We are always looking for teachers with an outgoing personality who are interested in working in a professional but friendly atmosphere and who have a sincere desire to improve their teaching skills by working in a sharing and learning environment. Basic requirements for our teachers are to be native British or Irish citizens and to have a degree, a TEFL certificate and some prior teaching experience.
Conditions of employment We employ teachers for general English courses of all age groups in our four centres in Madrid with block hour contracts from October to June. Teaching hours are between 4 and 10pm from Monday to Thursday and between 4:30 and 7:30 on Fridays. Contracts vary from 18 to 27 teaching hours. Teachers employed in our Business English department for classes outside the academy are offered varied timetables with contracts. NB: All teaching positions are guaranteed a legal contract and full social security cover.
